About the role
We’re looking for a Web Developer who can bring our designs to life, creating a fast, scalable, and
user-friendly website that reflects our beautifully easy philosophy.
As a Web Developer, you’ll work closely with the Web Designer and Growth & Marketing team to
turn creative concepts into high-performing web pages. You’ll ensure the website is technically
sound, SEO-optimized, and ready to handle future growth while maintaining pixel-perfect
alignment with our Brand Guidelines. If you’re passionate about clean code, smooth functionality,
and creative problem-solving, this role is for you.
What you’ll be doing
Building Bloxley’s Commercial Website
• Developing a responsive, high-performance website based on finalized designs.
• Ensuring the site reflects Bloxley’s brand identity while delivering a seamless user experience.
• Creating modular, reusable components to support scalability and future content updates.
📊 Optimizing Performance
• Implementing best practices for SEO, fast loading speeds, and cross-device compatibility.
• Using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js) to ensure the website is technically robust and
future-proof.
• Regularly testing the site across browsers and devices to ensure consistency and reliability.
🤝 Collaborating with the Team
• Partnering with the Web Designer to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs.
• Working with the Growth & Marketing team to integrate CTAs, analytics, and conversion funnels
effectively.
• Contributing ideas for improving the website’s functionality and scalability over time.
🔄 Maintaining and Iterating
• Monitoring the website post-launch, identifying and fixing bugs, and optimizing performance as
needed.
• Adding new features, pages, and enhancements based on user feedback and metrics.
What you’ll need
Web Development Expertise
• Experience as a Web Developer, with a strong portfolio of responsive, high-performing websites
• Expertise in tools like Webflow for rapid and scalable website creation.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Next.js (for more
complex integrations).
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and tools like Google Lighthouse or PageSpeed Insights.
📐 Technical Excellence
• Experience building websites optimized for conversion funnels and marketing campaigns.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, including Webflow CMS or other alternatives for managing
dynamic content.
🎥 Motion & Interactive Design
• Ability to implement animations and micro-interactions using animation tools or libraries.
• Experience working with designers to create engaging, interactive user experiences.
